Kim Darko is a Berlin-based illustrator with a flair for bright colors and a special love for drawing ducks. Their art delves into psychological and societal topics such as disability and mental health awareness, feminism, queerness and gender identity without losing its playfulness and comedic tone.
With a degree in graphic design in their pocket, Kim is currently in their 6th semester of studying Illustration at SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences. They currently work as a freelance illustrator and additionally hold regular workshops on media literacy (in a gender- and queer-sensitive educational context) for children and teenagers at Meko Neukölln.
Kim is open to freelance work, commissions and collaborations.
